Florida is best known for it's bright sunshine, true-green landscape, and fun-filled attractions. But did you know that Florida is home of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world? Regardless of which coast you're nearest to, chances are you will at some point be graced with the beauty and natural charm of one of these elite bodies of water. Due to Florida's usually warm temperatures, beach-going never goes out of style. Even in the winter, Florida's beaches are still quite the hype.
Some of Florida's most frequented beaches are:
Cocoa Beach- located off the eastern coast, this beautiful beach is appropriate for all ages. You are very likely to witness numerous surfers with their surfboards, riding the fascinating waves!
Daytona Beach- located off the eastern coast, this beach is a hot spot for race car fans, being that the Daytona 500 race track is right around the way. This is a popular place for spring break crew to come and party, "let their hair down", and beach-go!
Sanibel Island- located off the western coast, near Ft. Meyers, this beach is one of the luxurious caliber. It is a popular destination for couples and those who enjoy the laid back getaway of bed & breakfast lodging, and relaxing walks on the beach. This destination is one for rest and relaxation, with minimal night life.
Siesta Key- located off the western coast, this is one of the best beach locations to catch a radiant, breath-taking sunset. This particular beach is equally enjoyable to people of all ages.
South Beach Miami- located off the southern coast, this beach and it's surrounding structures are thriving grounds for high-fashioned, and often, high- profiled night life. In the daytime, you'll be amazed by all of the beautiful and buff. This is a great place to get your fill of "eye candy"!

I agree, St. James. Florida is a lovely place. I'm fortunate to call it home-although I'm located centrally and not on the coasts. However, I still enjoy the beautiful beaches!
